There is no charge to pregnant women for a legal consultation to discuss adoption.

Typical Fees

Attorney's fees for different types of adoptions can vary widely, and we encourage comparison pricing.

In Multnomah County, Oregon you typically will not need to appear in court in person; however this is an option for you if it is helpful or desirable for the child or the family. In addition to attorney's fees, government fees include: $100 court filing fee; $10 (per adult over 18) Oregon State Police records check; and $50 for the new Oregon birth certificate (other states' fees will vary).

Good adoption relationships are based on trust and the goal of the highest good for the child. A legal professional can be of great help at any stage of a prospective adoption.
